Something new can be scary. We have all been there, we have all had that first day in a new gym doing something we haven’t done before. Afraid you will struggle, scared to ask questions, afraid people are watching. Calera CrossFit is different. If you happen to struggle, we struggle with you. If you look unsure, someone will help. Are we watching, yes but it is because we are standing beside you telling you that you are doing great and that you can do it.
We aren’t a typical gym, at Calera CrossFit our coaches are our guides and the members are your family. Join us for two free introductory classes and experience what it means to be part of a gym family.

When George isn’t working out or managing the business, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing Xbox with his three boys, and playing golf.

In September of 2013, I did my first Crossfit workout in a friend’s garage. I was “working out” but it was more like playing a team sport than exercise and I was hooked. Despite developing a hatred for toes to bar, I continued to go. I went to several different CF boxes (both military and civilian) before getting my CF-L1 certificate and started coaching, and I was hooked again.
